Beth Morgan has been working as a musician in Australia and the UK for 26 years. She is a pianist, singer, choral director, music teacher, arranger and composer.
Beth is the founder of The Great Day Choir in Bristol and Bath – a choir network giving women a space to find their voice and a social support network through singing together. She also conducts the Bristol Military Wives Choir, including performances at St David’s Hall and the Millenium Centre, Cardiff. Whilst teaching secondary school music at Chew Valley School, she developed the pupil choir Vallis Voces, which performed at Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Choir of the Year, Manchester Choir Competition and the Mid-Somerset Festival. In 2014-2018, Beth was the trainer for the Junior Choir at Frenchay Parish Church, developing the choral skills and musicianship of choristers aged 7-11 from across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
In recent years, Beth has performed with the award-winning chamber choir Vox in Frox. She has also toured with the Bristol Choral Society, Keble Choir and the Bristol Cathedral Special Choir to Germany, Estonia, Hungary, Italy and Poland.
Beth loves musical theatre and has been fortunate to MD numerous shows including Annie, South Pacific, Oklahoma, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wizard of Oz, Grease and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
But aside from all of that, the thing that Beth loves the most is the sense of satisfaction seeing people empowered through their experience with choirs. She loves the sense of community and camaraderie that a choir can create amongst a group of strangers. Not to mention, the personal benefits of good health and wellbeing.
Please contact Beth if you would like to book her for a choir workshop or choir team building session.
